Haldrup Swath Mower

In order to obtain uniform ripening of rape trials, it is often necessary to swath the plots. For this reason J. Haldrup a/s has since 1984 manufactured a compact easily operated swath mower with a very high output. J. Haldrup a/s is today the only manufacturer of this type of swath mower.

The Swath Mower is manufactured in three sizes with plot widths of 1500, 1750 and 2000 mm.

In front we have mounted two strong hydraulically operated torpedoes with a variable speed of 0 to 25 r.p.m. for the separation of even the most vigorous crops. The Haldrup Swath Mower has a high ground clearance of 1650 mm, allowing even very tall and vigorous rape crops to pass through without any problems. At the same time the cutter bar has a lift height of 600 mm to enable it to run over plots which have already been swathed. The angle between the torpedoes is adjustable to obtain a more vigorous compression of the swathed.

If the knife is removed, the machine can also be used as a tool carrier and for the separation of cereal plots.

The driver’s platform is in the middle. This position gives the best working conditions and a good view of the cutting table.

A large side screen can easily be removed by service check of battery, fuses and hydraulic oil filter. The Haldrup Swath Mower requires very little daily service such as lubrication of knives and cleaning of cooler intake. Oil change and lubrication of bearings is only necessary once a year.

The Haldrup Swath Mower is a compact machine which is easy to operate. Its great advantages are its high output and easy operation.
