Haldrup Maize Harvester The first Haldrup Maize Harvester was constructed in
1991. Two different types of maize harvesters are manufactured at J.
Haldrup a/s – the self-propelled maize harvester and the towed
sampling unit – force-controlled. The Haldrup Self-propelled Maize Harvester is with
two-row row-dependent or row-independent maize chopper, sampler weighing hopper, electronic suspension
balance and blower. The Haldrup Maize Harvester is based on a very powerful
but simple tractor unit with front lift arms with category 2 linkage,
PTO and hydraulic oil feed to front and rear. This means that the tractor unit can be used for other
purposes such as sowing, manuring and spraying. Therefore, we have manufactured a very versatile
machine which can be used for a longer period than just the few
weeks a year to harvest maize. This makes it considerably more
economical in the long run. The driver’s platform has been constructed with a
good view of the front unit and an ideal working position and as many
functions as possible are pedal operated. There is also room for an
assistant to handle samples, balance and computer. With the reputable Pöttinger maize chopper which is a
simple and strong machine you obtain a very high level of chopping
accuracy. The maize harvester can also be equipped with a Kemper
Champion row-independent maize chopper. Additionally, it is possible to get a rubber belt or a
blower delivered with the maize harvester so that the crop can be loaded
directly into a trailer. The Haldrup Maize Harvester is equipped with a rotary
sampler with hydraulic operated rotor and auger. The size of the samples
is adjustable. The adjustment is done by turning the auger pipe with the
handle. You obtain a fine average sample with a representative selection
of grains, leaves and stems. Different tests and comparisons of trial results with
both manual and mechanical sampler have shown that you obtain a far
better result with a mechanical sampler. The daily maintenance of the Haldrup Maize Harvester is
reduced to checking the engine, cooler and air intake. A large side
hatch facilitates the inspection of the transmission and the wiring as
well as the filling of hydraulic oil.
The Maize Harvester has a detachable weighing hopper
and blower which make it possible also to use the machine as a tool
carrier. The towed sampling unit is a two-row row-dependant
maize harvester with sampler, weighing hopper, electronic suspension
balance and blower. This principal has many advantages such as quick and
easy transport from one test field to another, excellent work conditions
and view for the driver as well as room for an assistant. Furthermore,
the towed sampling unit is adjustable to most conditions and wishes. The sampler can be mounted on a Haldrup tractor unit, a
one-row lateral maize chopper or on a weighing unit with blower. The sampler can also be delivered as a build-up for an
UNIMOG or a self-propelled maize harvester for example. With a Haldrup Maize Harvester you will have the best
harvesting machine both now and in the future. For further specifications or more information download our brochure or contact or sales department. |
