    Haldrup Forage Plot Harvester

The first Haldrup Forage Plot Harvester was manufactured in 1973 and up until today more than 360 machines have been delivered in Europe as well as south and North America . The Forage Plot Harvester has constantly been modified to keep ahead of the users’ requirements, needs and wishes. Due to a close co-operation between the users and J. Haldrup a/s, we have today a machine which is very easy to operate and maintain but still of a very strong construction. The latest version is the result of several years’ intensive research and development where the main goals have been to obtain:

• Adjustment to the CE-standards

All functions on the Haldrup Forage Plot Harvester are operated either electrical or El/hydraulic as to increase the operation comfort. Additionally, the instrument box and the weighing display are placed right beside the driver. The driver’s platform has been designed in such a way that the driver has a perfect view of the cutting table, and an adjustable steering wheel guarantees a comfortable sitting position. Pedal operation of most functions has been chosen, so that the driver can use both hands for sampling. This saves a considerable amount of time between the plots.

In order to make it easy to check the machine parts, the components which require a regular check-up such as engine, cooler and battery are placed under the engine hood on top of the machine.

The components which demands a seldom check-up are placed under the cutting table between the front wheels. These parts are for example the hydraulic pump and tank and the fuel tank. This way also a low pivot and a reduction of the noise from the hydraulic is obtained. The fuel tank is made of stainless steel so that the machine is prepared for bio diesel.

All components are quality products from well-known suppliers.

Furthermore, the Haldrup Forage Plot Harvester has telescope valves, which makes it easy to adjust the machine to different parcel widths.

The cutting table has a hydraulic floating function in order always to keep the correct stubble height. The Forage Plot Harvester is available with two knife systems – the finger system and the double knives. Complete cutting width from knife to weighing box and a large passage between the cutting table and the platform insures that no grain is wasted and avoids stop even by harvest of long crops. Both knife, reel, canvas and the two inlet valves are hydraulically powered, so that the turns can be adjusted to all crops and speed levels.

As every machine is customer made it is possible to choose different specifications along with accessories. As an example, it is possible to choose between 2 different weighing systems, alternative tyres and accessories such as chopper, lightening system, sunroof and Cabin.

The Cabin is very spacious with room for 2 persons with air-conditioning with 3-stage fan, heater, and fresh-air system with 2-stage fan. Tinted laminated glass, Rotor wiper (360°) and windscreen wiper. As a bonus the cabin has a very low noise level.

A high output of 60 to 100 m² plots per hour plus the comfortable design of the driver’s platform makes the Haldrup Forage Plot Harvester the best harvesting machine for the future.
